Orders are packed and shipped out Monday - Friday, with deliveries available Tuesday - Saturday.

Next day delivery cutoff is at 9AM EST.

We (and our carriers) are closed on most major holidays, so you'll see some days are unavailable for delivery around those times of year.

Delivery times vary depending on your address and carrier, for an accurate estimate check your tracking number after you receive it (it will be emailed to you when your order is shipped).

Orders are shipped exclusively through overnight delivery with FedEx and UPS.

Orders are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes, with styrofoam inserts and frozen gel packs. Seaweed (or wet newspaper) will be included if your order includes live lobsters, this helps keep them calm during transport.

Packaged this way, your seafood will stay cold for up to 36 hours during travel.

We like to be transparent with the shipping costs, that's why we list our products at market value, then add shipping costs during checkout. 

For a quote, add some items to your cart, proceed to checkout and enter your state and zip code. The shipping cost will then be added to your total.

Overnight shipping can get pricy (especially for our friends on the opposite coast), so we suggest ordering with friends and family to split the cost!

Weather conditions can affect the delivery of our packages in multiple ways. That's why we keep a keen eye on the country's upcoming weather patterns. 

Hot weather can reduce the effectiveness of our packaging. So, we always add extra frozen gel packs to any box with a warm destination.

Poor weather can delay flights and trucks from delivering our packages. We shut off delivery dates if we catch wind of a storm early enough. If you've already placed an order, we'll make contact to reschedule for a date that works for you!

*If your box is delayed due to weather conditions, you will not have any recourse with Harbor Fish Market, or our carriers (FedEx and UPS).

The pickup location for all online pickup orders is our Portland store.

Same day order cutoff for local pickup is at 3:30pm, Monday thru Saturday, and 2:30pm on Sundays.

If you're traveling after you pick up your order, we suggest adding a travel box to your cart! These boxes come with styrofoam inserts and frozen gel packs, able to safely transport your seafood for up to 36 hours. Don't worry, we'll pack the box for you!

And when you're here to pick up, just ask any clerk for the order under your name or order number!

There are no extra fees for local pickup.

As this service is still growing, home delivery may be available on a limited schedule, depending on available staffing and demand for the service.

Available delivery dates are typically Tuesday - Saturday.

Deliveries will usually occur between 1pm and 5pm, our driver will leave your order at your door.

If you don't see this option, the zip code you've entered is not available for home delivery.

We have a $75 minimum, and will apply a $12 delivery fee at checkout.

We are happy to offer delivery to many islands serviced by Casco Bay Lines.

We deliver all island orders to the ferry terminal in the morning, and they are sent to the islands on the noon boat (or the closest scheduled departure).

Please meet the boat when it arrives at its destination, to pick up your order. It will be labeled with your name and phone number.

There is no minimum for these orders, but we do charge a $10 delivery fee, which includes the freight and packaging costs.
